Shawna has practiced law for over 10 years. She received her law degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2003. She also received a Masters in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School. Shawna was selected as one of the Best of the Bar in 2011 and 2013. She was also selected as a Rising Star in 2012 and 2013 by Super Lawyers. Shawna is very active in the American Bar Association and has published over 20 different articles for various legal publications.
Shawna has handled litigation matters involving personal injury, premises liability, and medical malpractice claims. She has also handled business, employment, and construction litigation, as well as environmental litigation.
Shawna grew up in a small town along the Mississippi River in Madison County, Illinois. Shawna now resides on a small farm in Troy, Missouri.
